Sahara Desert Morocco, yes, we finally arrived in this magical place. Our journey to the Sahara Desert started in Marrakech and from there we went on to Ait Ben Haddou and the Todra Gorge. After three days, we made it to Merzouga, a small village close to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg. The best way to plan your Merzouga desert trip in the Sahara is to start of by exploring the desert in dune buggies or ATV’s and then take a camel ride, before heading to your Merzouga berber tent.

Traveling to the Sahara Desert of Morocco and exploring the massive remote sand dunes of Merzouga, while camping overnight in an incredible Berber camp was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The entire experience was unreal!
