Gateway's Partnership with EST University in Oujda Morocco

http://www.gtc.edu Gateway Technical college hosted three visitors from EST university in Oujda Morocco that were here to learn about our use of applied learning and hands-on technology in a number of academic areas. EST Oujda is in the process of constructing a new automotive lab and is using Gateway's Horizon Center as a model for their new building.

They toured many Gateway campuses and Centers with a special focus on automotive, manufacturing, engineering, and renewable energy. The ability for the EST team to visit Gateway, talk with instructors, administrators and industry representatives from Snap-on and Trane, provided them the basis for the decisions they will be making around construction and equipment.

Through a partnership with NC3 and Snap-on, Gateway and EST Oujda have built upon the great work funded through USAID and the Higher Education for Development grant that was awarded in 2012.
