The Hotel Akouas and Introduction to Meknes, Morocco

The Hotel Akouas is a clean and nice hotel in Meknes. But it is always important to ask when the heat and hot water is turned on before getting into a shower and letting loose with expletives with cold water hits you.

The Explore group was traveling through Morocco on our own large and very pink bus with driver, Hassan and assistant, Ali. A hilarious few minutes with them outside Hotel Akouas while Hassan tried to teach me a little Berber language. Just couldn't get my tongue around it...and then the group set off on the morning sightseeing.
