I was great to finally get away after all these years with my bestie of all time. We grew up together and our families would often do Summer trips which made the holiday ten times better. We kept talking about going away just us but the timing was never right and the years would just pass. But one afternoon we agreed to book somewhere, right now, right then. We booked to go to Marrakesh. Horrayy! Our Mum's were panicking from day dot haha. The time came around and we were off to Marrakesh for a few days. We stayed at the Movenpick Hotel which was located about 15 mins from the Airport. It was only ten mins from the centre of Marrakesh and they took care of you beautifully. It had everything you needed, from a spa, gym to three swimming pools. All you needed after being in the busy, sweaty centre and time to cool off from the hot weather. We explored the souks and all its surroundings. Also booking a tour of the Atlas Mountains which was incredible. Lots and lots of Moroccan food which was divine may I just add and lazy sleepy afternoons spent round the pool. I would defiantly recommend this trip! I would love to return to buy some things from the souks for the house and explore the Mountains further.
