CHEFCHAOUEN After Lockdown - Visiting The Blue City Of MOROCCO In July 2020

We visit the beautiful "Blue City" of Chefchaouen Morocco! Shortly after Morocco allowed people to move throughout the country following the lockdown, in July of 2020, we had the opportunity to visit this incredible city. Known as the "Blue City" because of the blue painted houses and building, Chefchaouen is located in the Northern Mountains of Morocco.

We left our AirBnB in Tetouan for this day trip to Chefchaouen, and we weren't disappointed! However, the city was fairly empty and we were one of the few tourists there on this day, because of the ongoing border closure. Also, because of this, many businesses, including restaurants and shops, were closed.

However, we really enjoyed our time in "The Blue City" of Chefchaouen Morocco, even though it was shortly after lockdown. We can't wait to go back!
