Essaouira is known as Windy City.

With often windy conditions Essaouira is a great place for water sports like wind surfing and kite surfing.

We visited Explora Kite Shop in Essaouira to attend my first kite surfing lesson. As our instructor Hamza explains, kite surfing is for everybody since it does not require a lot of strength, just some kiting skills.

As expected Essaouira was very windy and therefore perfect for 2 hours beginners kite surf lesson.
