The Blue City of Chefchaouen, شفشاون (Arabic) goes also by Chaoun and Chaouen, but one thing is sure, this blue city is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment you enter Chefchaouen, you feel as though you are in a fairytale. Chefchaouen actually means horns, because the shape of the hills above the Medina look like two horns. Besides being blue, its architecture is also very unique compared to what you see in the rest of Morocco. Chefchaouen was founded in 1471 and is located in the Rif mountains. The first main inhabitants were Jews and Moors fleeing Spain.

Let’s take a stroll through the Medina of Chefchaouen and see what we discover. I hope you will like this video as much as we enjoyed visiting this phenomenal city.
