I was not able to find Danette in the U.S. so today I am going to show you how to make homemade chocolate cream "Danette" style. This is a very easy recipe, with simple ingredients, but there is one trick: when adding the corn starch you only have a very short time window to cook the cream, so it thickens, then you remove it immediately from the heat. Otherwise, the cream will become too thick and the texture is not pleasant. And that's it!
