day 2 of our morocco trip! and first day of our sahara desert tour which was our highlight and main part of the whole trip. we set off with our amazing tour fam and saw the most amazing views of the high atlas mountains and past one Berber village after another to the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its Kasbah and fortified village, and previously used as a set for some famous Hollywood epics, which was absolutely surreal. after some time exploring the village with its Kasbah, we had lunch in a local restaurant and continued our road trip through Ouarzazate, known as the Gate of the Sahara and onto Boumalne Dades, admiring the scenic drive along the road to Tinghir, where we had dinner with the tour fam and stayed in a hotel overnight.
