On top of a hill in Chefchaouen lies an observatory. Local people say that it used to be a synagogue, although the place bears no signs of it ever being one. UNESCO plans on making the sight a cultural center or a museum, but for the time being it's only a beautiful observatory. We did some extreme strolling to get up there and see what it's all about.
